WHen do you put gas in your car? And who does it you or sign. other

I normally wait for it to get close to red and then I beg DH to put in. If I am at work I look for a place that fills for you. That doesnt charge an arm and leg

I always pump my own gas.

I prefer to go where someone else pumps it, if not I pump it.

Otherwise if DH and I are in the car together then of course he pumps it if its not full serve.

I WISH dh would do it for me - but I usually go to a full serve place.

I usually go on the weekend, when I am down to 1/4 tank or less after a week of driving. If I happen to be with DH, he pumps, if not, I pump it myself. I really don't mind it too much, except when it is FREEZING outside.

I wait for 1/4 or slightly lower. DH will wait until it's on E and starts to sputter and then he will wait for me take that vehicle, so I can fill it up. But it's ok we live in Jersey so the attendant pumps it.

Sometimes I will get out and pump my own if the station is backed up. I always used to pump my own when we lived in NY.
