Our date is not till Nov. 07, and we're not doing an e-party, so at what point do we register at stores?
FH wants to register SO badly. And it's not even because he wants to get a ton of stuff. He just wants to walk around with the scanner gun and scan EVERYTHING. He's nuts. Thank you!

If your not having an eparty theres no need to hurry! I would do it 4 to 5 months before the wedding! :) I registered online for a few things but I have an appointment at Macy's next Fri!!! I'm excited! My eparty is June 24th!!! XOXOXO Kitty

It is recommended to register the max 6 mths before the wedding. the reason for this is bc a lot of things get discontinued - and if they are part of a set, then you would get half or bits and pcs if ppl started buying pcs and then later on they are discontinued.

I agree, I would not rush to do it. I am probably waiting until the end of the summer since I am not having an e-party either

Yeah, I agree with waiting to register. I keep telling him that it's not anywhere near the top of the list of things to do, but he doesn't want to wait. So impatient! haha. thanks again!

I registered at BBB and Fortunoff. I left off bedding and towels. I will add them in a few months. If anything gets discontinued they will notify you. I did not have an E-Party but once I registered I did get a few gifts off of it.

My MOH registered a year before her wedding date and said that she was glad she did so b/c she changes it often.

I've heard this too. If people aren't going to buy from it any time soon, I'm not sure why you would really need it anyway. Unless, like someone above mentioned, you want to have time to add or change things.
