a thank you for a gift sent with a 'regret' RSVP? Do I wait until after the wedding and send them the same TY as everyone else or do I send them one now??? So confused...

I'm sending thank you cards as soon as I get the gift saying I'm sorry they can't make it, thanks for the gift. I expect after we get the photo Thank you's, I'll send another.

I think gifts received before the wedding should receive tys within 2 weeks.. I heard that somewhere...i dont recall where though..maybe knot
