I am not sure when I should send my RD invites out. Keep in mind I am only sending my invitations out on 08/20.

We mailed our RD invitations a few weeks after we mail our wedding invitations. I hope that I helped you out a little.

I would send them out about 3 weeks before the date of the rehearsal. They don't need much more notice than that!

we sent this with the wedding invites. it saved us postage since there are so many people invited.

We sent out our Invites last Friday.
Our RD invites are being mailed09/01/2007 so that everyone gets them by the 4th, rd is 10/03

I am going to send mine out a couple of weeks before ~ we sent e-mails to the bridal party already like a STD kind of thing! My brother is making my RD invites so he is going to start them this week i beleive or after his summer classes in college are over...

I agree.
The people that you will be inviting to the RD are usually very close (BP members, close family, anyone involved in the wedding)... So, they are going to be pretty much 'expecting' the RD a few days before the wedding. Anyone else, like OOT guests, usually get notice of the wedding ahead of time with a STD... So, same thing for them- they pretty much know that it is coming so a few weeks notice (like 3 or 4) is plenty!

Um, if they're in the wedding they should be expecting to have to attend a rehearsal and dinner a day (or a few days) before the wedding date. SET IT and let them know when it is. I feel like if some people can't make it, what can you do? You can't just wait and wait and wait for people to let you know and work around them when you're planning a wedding. If they haven't gotten back to you by next week, set it for the date you want/need.
