your engagement ring? In the shower, at the gym, etc? I feel like I'm constantly taking it off and putting it back on. What do you guys typically do?

I am doing the same. I take it off when I shower, or am washing my face. I always take it off when I go to sleep ( I hate sleeping with any jewelry on). When I do exercise, I take it off as well. I thought I was the only crazy one who was constantly taking it on and off!

I rarely take my rings off. Not for the shower, or even for the gym! The only time I really take it off is when I put on lotion.
DH tells me he would rather me keep it on all the time...better to have a dirty ring than a missing ring!!!!

I take it off to sleep, to shower, to wash dishes, to wash my face, to clean with any 'products', to make the bed, to go to the beach . . . Basically for anything that I think could damage it.
eta- I only have 3 locations where I'll put my ring if I take it off so it doesn't get lost.

i take it off when i take a shower and when i dry my hair. i tried drying my hair with it and it would get tangled in my hair and cut my hair so off it went. and when i go to sleep.

i only take it off when i shower and wash the dishes. Ive heard horror stories about things that have happened to erings when worn while doing dishes i waited 7 years for it.. i dont want any thing to happen to it... I never take it off out side the house though....
