My FH took me to clean my ring this weekend. It tends to get cloudy around the sides. I always take it off when I am applying lotion. What other times do you take it off to avoid getting it dirty? I am so lame-brained that I 'm afraid I might take it off (ex - shower, applying makeup) that I'll leave it behind or I'll drop it somewhere where it'll be hard for me to get. I am such a butterfingers!!!

only to clean it. To me, I would rather have a potentially dirty e-ring than one ering down the drain.

Never! Ok one of these days I will take it off to clean it, but that is it. I have a ring guard and right now it is pretty secure, so I feel better with it on my finger than left somewhere (I am notorious for losing earrings, necklaces, watches cause I take em off and leave em places!)

I take it off at night before I go to bed and put it back on after I do my hair in the morning.
Other than that, only to make meatballs or cook with raw meat where I am touching it a lot.

I only take mine off when I shower and put hand lotion on. I clean mine once a week cause it gets so dirty!!

I take it off at night, and put it on again in the morning after I clean my birdcage. I always put it in its box and then in my jewelry armoire when I'm not wearing it. If I go to the gym or do lab work, I take it off, and out it on a chain around my neck. I plan to do lab work this morning, so I'm wearing my ring around my neck right now

same here, and today is the FIRST time in almost 2 years that i forgot it at home i dont feel so great today and was running super late, as i am pulling away from my block i rememered but had NO time to go back. i keep looking down and getting nervous that its not there and then i remember....

When I wash my hands I ususally put it in my pocket. Also at night when I get home from work so that I don't bang it around the house. I don't put it on b4 I work out in the morning, only after I am dressed.

I take it off to clean it, apply hand lotion, when I sleep (I sleep w/ my fists clenched, so my fingers swell up a lot. I usually put it back on after I do my hair), when I'm doing yardwork, when I'm cooking with messy stuff, or when I'm washing the car ('cause it fell off in the bucket once!!!)...
It's a high setting, and I don't want to damage it while doing 'messy/dirty things'.
When it's not on my finger, it's on a Waterford Ring Holder.

me too, in the winter I also took it off to put on lotion & if I am doing heavy duty cleaning or painting or anything like that I take it off.

I only take mine off when I go in the shower, and of course to clean it. It always, always, ALWAYS goes in its ring box on my nightstand.
A few weeks ago I was at my mom's and I took it off to wash my car. FI had already done his truck and my mom's car so he was ready for a nap, so he put the ring on his pinky but it only went down to the 1st knuckle! It was so cute!!!

I take it off as soon as i get home from work.... it's too new still. I'm sure as time passes I won't be afraid to wear it to the gym and to cook, etc.
as of right now, I only wear it out of the house.

I never take off my e-ring. I sleep, shower, wash dishes. The only time I take it off is when I clean chicken or I package chopmeat. Believe it or not, I put lotion on with it and since I wash it, it cleans itself.

I take it off each night before i get ready for bed....and I put it on when I have finished getting dresses in the morning. I also don't wear it...in the Pool, while doing yard work or putting up the christmas lights on the house.
