Need adivce on when I should host my sister's Bridal Shower for her October 5th wedding. I am not sure how early or close to the date it should be. Any suggestions; this spring, early summer, or late summer, or get into the fall? I will be having it at a resteraunt, 12-4pm...which day do you believe would be most best for people to attend Sat or Sunday? Thanks

I would say have it 3 mts prior...
and have it on a Sunday morning/afternoon brunch idea!

I would think 3 to 4 months before would be good. Did you check with the other members of the BP, for dates they can't do it?

So June/July sounds appropriate? I have to contact the other girls. I will be seeing them in April, because we are putting money down for our dresses. It is myself, my youngest sis, and his (my sis's FH) 3 sisters in the Bridal Party. I am affraidjune/July would be questionable, because I know a lot of people do vacations in the summer months. hmmmm

I think that if there are people attending the shower that have to travel a bit, a Saturday is more conveient than a Sunday (just my opinion though)
