my fmil said usually 2/3 months in advance. My sister told me probably january or end of February. i am getting married in april. i am having a very small shower. One of my very close friends is having a baby & due at the end of february. i really would like to have her there. I was thinking middle/end of march. is that too close to the wedding?? also it would be something to relax me since i will be probably be stresseed out .

A month before is totally fine - especially in March, its a month where a lot of people don't have much going on

i think doing it a month before the wedding would be fine--if you really want your friend there. i've seen ppl have showers 4 months before all the way to the week of the wedding. these days you can do what you want!

I have no idea. I know my Mom and Moh are planing one big one (I do not want multiple showers) and it will prob be in march or april so 2-3 moths ahead of the wedding.
