I am getting married on Novemeber 3, 2007...when do I have to start Pre-Cana and/or Focus group? When do I need my and my FH's baptism records in by...? My church never calls or emails us back! HELP! TIA

the church will call you for pre-cana a couple months before it starts. your baptismal cert should be in like 6 months before (that's what my church said).

hey melissa...I got all of matt's records in with our church when we first set our date and then I called to make sure they had it all, but that woman was so rude on the phone with me that I didn't ask about pre-cana!! But I will be calling bakc after the new year because Matt and I need to do it before next fall because of his schedule -working nights and coaches high school football makes the fall IMPOSSIBLE and I know that is when they will call!

I know what you mean about the lady on the phone...she was mean to me when I called for an appointment to meet withthe priest!! Odd for her to be mean whe she works for GOD! Thanks for the info! I was wondering if we were going ot go together!

I handed in the Baptismal forms as soon as I got them- I already did Pre-Cana I did it earlier b/c I wanted to do it with one of my BM's(she's getting married in June) I I am doing Foccus on the November 19th...
.I would just keep calling the church or show up at the rectory- I did my things earlier b/c I wanted to get them overwith but you still have some time...HTH

let me know if you hear anything...I'm not really close with Father Midura, that is why Walden is marrying us so if Fr. Madura gives you any info please share!!!!
