Where do you put your wasabi??

I hadn't ever had sushi until I went to Japan, and wherever we went, they seemed to put it on the rice, under the sashimi (meaning for nigiri, I'm not huge into rolls). So that's how I do it...but I feel like I get odd looks when I have it for lunch around here.

What about you guys???

I don't use it at all. I can't handle wasabi in any amount.

Same here. I hate it. DH puts it in the bowl of soy sauce.

Love wasabi..

I put it everywhere.

On top of the fish, in the soy sauce..I mostly eat sashimi though. I take a bit of wasabi and some shredded radish and roll it up in the fish. Dip it in the sauce..yummo!

Hey-anyway you eat your sushi is fine with me.

I've never eaten sushi...so I would probably wince in pain watching you eat it no matter what. just posting to move up the happy posts!!

I ate it once and it grossed me out immensely. My friend had gone through alot of trouble to make it, so I sucked it up and ate it, but felt ill for hours afterwards. UGH
