When father's get involved.....

So my father is going to be paying for a portion of our wedding. And now he's trying to be helpful with some suggestions.

Here are some of his suggestions and my replies:

#1 - put the bm's in black dress
(No, it's a july wedding, they refuse)

not so bad right?!? ok

#2 - i think you spent to much on the photographer
(No i love my photographer, moving on)

this angered me a little

#3 - Do you really need to have flowers on the tables? So we could save money, ya know.
(Absolutely yes we need flowers, don't ever ask me that question again, why don't we just cut out the food too!)

Just wanted to add that I actually did get an e-mail from a magician advertising for weddings

lol. my dad asked me if I really needed to have a big ole gown that cost so much money for only one day. no I just want to wear a white dress that cost $100 on my wedding day.

he also thinks makeup trials are stupid, that all makeup artists are the same and I should just pick one.

then oh yeah why do I even need my hair done? can't I just do it myself? blah blah blah. and can't I just wear jewelry I already own? *sighs*

dads should just stay out of it! they just don't understand.

fh always jokes that we should have a clown. I want one of those live statues though, to scare the $hit out of everyone.
