Re: when freezing cookies????please help
mom bakes them then puts them into containers but puts plastic wrap in between the cover and the container to be sure they are kept fresh.

I make the cookies then freeze them (not the dough). I use ziplock bags to store them.

Re: when freezing cookies????please help
I froze cookies for the first time this year, it worked good..I took some out to make sure ( after about 10 days frozen) and they taste great.
I wrapped about 7 -10 cookies in wax paper and put them in a ziploc bag. I put all the ziploc's in one of those lasagna pans and covered with aluminum foil.
They defrosted GREAT in about 24 hours.

It depends on what type of cookies you are making to decide whether or not you can freeze the dough or the cookie. But as a general rule you can bake the cookie, wrap the individually, put in a ziploc and freeze them. If you plan to decorate them, do not do this before you freeze them.
