When is a good time to get our marriage license!?

We got ours a little under a month before.

Marriage licences are only valid for 60 days from the day after you apply.

i know NYC ones are valid for 60 days - we got ours around 55 days prior bc FH has to spread out his time off of work and between vacations, bachelor party etc that was the best time to do it. i believe it doesnt matter as long as it is between 60 days prior and 48 hours prior...you can not go the day before
