kelly4, I am 'above' -- let's not ask how above! LOL When I turned 30, I was ready to jump off the bridge and was soooo depressed because I didn't have a boyfriend and I wasn't married and I didn't have kids (my list was neverending) that the theme for the party they threw me here at work was 'black and purple' -- everyone had to be in those colors and I did wear all black on my b'day because I was in mourning!!! Now I WISH I was turning 30 again!!! Trust me, you won't appreciate it until after the fact!!! Where has the time gone????

bearsbabe....I'm glad you can feel my pain. It's the jump from checking off the 20 something box in surveys to the 30+ box that gets me. I am having a hard time dealing with it. I cried when I turned 23!!!! I can't believe I'm going to be 30! I still feel like I'm 22! I don't feel like an adult yet! Did it take you a while too?

April 26th, however I stopped celebrating last year and refuse to acknowledge the passing of any more years.
My family and friends have been informed that from now on, should they choose to participate, April 26th will be referred to as 'Jenn Appreciation Day'.

Brian will be 30 this year and he isnt handling it well. He told me he is turning 29 again. I said no you are turning 30. he told me i am just talking crazy.

But at least its a good excuse for a big wild party

kelly-turned 30 this past december - but can't help ya - I am a freak and was so excited to turn 30! It's only a number and I feel young!
