June/July thru end of Oct but can be until early Nov (but that can also be rainy season and less predictable weather until around thanksgiving)

I want to know also - I really want to go to Sandals Bahamas but I am worried about the hurricane season. Our wedding is August 2 and we will probably want to leave August 4 for about a week. Do you think we will hit a hurricane. Everyone says not to worry, they usually come later.

technically june through october. but very unpredictable so i wouldn't plan your HM around this.

June-Nov. but each island is affected differently, and some that are farther South are either not affected or have a diff. hurricane season. Do a search on www.about.com for honeymoon weather, I think there's a good article there. Also, do a search on www.weather.com. Good luck. We opted for Fiji for that very reason!

I called 2 resorts in Virgin Gorda and they both said hurricane season starts late August and can go into October. Then I called Young Island in St. Vincent (West Indies?) and they said they aren't ever affected b/c they are below the hurricane belt. Okay I know NOTHING about geography but I guess in May I have nothing to worry about?

We were planning on going to the bahamas for our one year anniversary in November. I'm not sure if this is still hurricane season?
