Save the date cards or items? I have a friend who just got engaged and she is getting married in six months. Is that too short of a time to send these? What do you think?
If she is getting married on a holiday weekend she should send a STD card asap. If it is not a holiday weekend, then it is up to her whether or not to send STD cards. If she decides that she wants to, they should go out very soon.
I have been hearing alot about these save the date cards and magnets. I think it's a great and cute idea. Is this something new? I have never heard of this before or received one when invited to a wedding before. Is everyone here sending these?
My FH & I have alot of family in Ireland so we will probably send them (the earlier they book tickets the cheaper they are)
Well... I haven't ordered mine yet, and as of the 31st this month, which is this weekend, will be the 5 month mark, and I'm going to order them this week, receive them by next week, and hopefully get them out the following week. So, about 4.5 months in advance. I think that's plenty of time. I wouldn't send them out past the 4 month mark, since it's probably pointless since you're sending out the invitations in a couple of months. Good luck! (Sorry for babbling)
