It is more likely to snow in April than November, believe it or not. If it's a bad winter (which we have had for the past 5 years), the snow continues into April (remember the snow storm last April that stranded everyone of the road for 5+ hours?). I am all about Nov. Even in the worst Winters, I have rarely seen more then a flurry before Thanksgiving.

I agree. my sister & BIL were in from CA in the beginning of December last year and we weren't even in jackets yet. it's been so mild the last few Falls. case in point, it's been 80 degrees here for the last 3 days

when we got engaged those were the two times of year that we debated between... we ended up choosing April because one of my bridesmaids was already getting married in November, and April would have given us a bit more time to save and our vacation time for our honeymoon was better (we are both teachers)
now i am so happy we picked april, because as a teacher i think everything is still too hectic for me this close to the begining of the school year... things are definitely more calmer for me in April...

Depends on what you like...
I'm getting married in the spring, but recently I've started to fall in love with fall colors. I thought pastels would be my thing, but now it looks like deep reds and oranges are.

wow its liked tied! I like autumn weddings. Apirl rains a lot, but Nov is cold. But Nov is much cheaper. Nov has beautiful autumn leaves! So I would go for Nov. but I'm biase as well!

Do you know what made me want to do a Autumn wedding? Robinhood prince of theives! I saw their wedding at the end and thought it was just beautiful how the fall leaves were falling as Robinhood and Maid Mairan got married! When I met joe and wanted to get married thats the first thing that came to my mind. Watch the movie and see the ending, you'll see what I mean!

Althought my first choice was late October....
exact same here and fh was dying for a spring wedding now hes kicking himself in the arse because he just wants the wedding to be here already!

i vote april, but i love spring and think you might have a better chance of warm weather then than in nov... both would be GREAT. fall is also a great season and i'm sure the foliage would be gorgeous. go with your gut!!

I chose November. To me, I would rather have snow than rain. ETA.. I also love the deep dark colors you will be able to use for a November wedding.

Both months are equally cold most likely (especially if it's late november /early april), but I think it's more likely to rain in april .. .
I would go for the fall wedding, but of course, I'm biased too, being a Fall-lover and getting married on Oct. 29th!

As you can see, I am partial to November. I just feel like there is more chance of rain in April... but if it doesnt rain, April is a gorgeous month.....
