to have the limo guy(s) put the runner down in a church?
I ask because I went to a wedding and the guy walked down and put the runner down right before the bride came down, and he walked right behind the MOH, so close that he practically looked like he was in the procession! It was really weird to me and FH, he had to be in a lot of the processional pictures, some guy with a blue tie just mosying down the aisle and he stopped when he realized he was all up in the MOH. A bunch of people thought it was weird so I assume it's not the usual way to do that.
So, is this normal, is he supposed to go down before the bridal party starts going down or should he have just waited a little longer until he wasnt RIGHT behind the MOH to do that? I thought they go down before everybody.

I have seen it both ways. Rolled out for the entire bridal party and right before the bride walks down the aisle. I have also never noticed anyone walking behind the MOH rolling out the runner....terrible but your description of the limo driver behind the MOH makes me laugh.

I have seen it been done both ways, before the bride and before the bridal party. If you prefer one way over another I am sure you can let your limo company know.

i think they usually walk down the aisle after the MOH has finished walking. during the time right before the organist starts to play the bridal song.

Yeah... I can see it making sense either way but I think I was put off by how close he was to the MOH while she was walking down, it was REALLY close. I think the right way to do that is to wait until she's more down the aisle than she was to start walking and do the runner. I think I will tell mine to do it ahead of time before the whole bridal party goes down.
My FH was like, what's happening here, did that guy get in a fight with the lady (MOH) and not want to walk down with her?? Then we saw him do the runner lol. He didn't have anything in his hands so it must have been up front already, adding to the confusion.

I believe the guy from Camelot put it down right after the parents walked in. I could be wrong though but it DEF wasn't after me lol.

I went to a wedding the last two weekends and the runner went down before the entire bridal party came out.
