My wedding is on a Friday so I booked the church for the rehearsal the Wednesday night before at 6:00. Do you think it's too much to have the bp leave work early on Wednesday and then take off on Friday for the wedding?

if they are all local then i think its fine.
we are having our rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening and the wedding is Friday...but thats bc we have a lot of OOT BP members so we couldnt do it earlier.

would the church do the rehearsal at maybe 7pm instead??
i dont think 6pm is that bad but if your concerned people may need to rush out of work, maybe a little later would be better if the church can do it

I dont think it should be a problem. BP should know that they have more reponsibility and requirements than guests.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Plus everyone in the bridal party either lives on Queens or LI (the church is in Queens) so it's not like they're traveling far.

I'm going to aim for a 7 PM rehearsal on the Wednesday night before my Friday night wedding, but if we can't get it, we'll do 6 PM. I don't think that's asking too much!

i do not know when my rehearsal is because my Church is taking their time with sending me my 'packet' . my plan is to have the rehearsal on the Sunday before the wedding. our wedding is on a Friday, which means everyone has to take a day off from work as it is.

Mine is the week before. My church only does rehearsals on Saturdays, and my wedding is a Saturday, so it's the week before.

im not having oots or even family so it was easy for us to do ours the week before on sunday which works out great so we dont have to take off extra time and the bp doesnt have to rush home from work either.

I'm doing the same thing except my rehersal is at 7. (I might want to push it up).
As long as you give them ample notice it should be fine.

Not at all Im getting married on Saterday and the rehersal is on Thursday...at 6:30pm.....I would rather the rehersal be 2days before then the night before when you are a wreck.

I originally had 7:00 but I thought that with the dinner after it would be better to have it at 6:00.

I can't even try and do this until 3 months before the wedding. I am hoping for the Wed before the Fri wedding. I know 2 OOT BP members won't be able to make it but I have a 20 person BP I can't please everyone.
