When it rains it pours

FH just got into a small car accident on the way home.
He's fine as is our car, but the lady he tapped just bought her friggin car yesterday.

he was exiting the meadowbrook and the lady in front of him just stopped for no reason. he stopped in time, but the guy behind him didnt so he tapped Will...and Will tapped the lady. They pull over to the side of the road and the guy that tapped Will just drove off!!

insurance can't cover it b/c his mother is nuts and has the car insured under someone else's name not Will's even though he is the only one who drives it. We literally just found that out last week and are in the process of fixing it...and then this happens.
we're so sc rewed.

At least he is okay though, be thankful for that!

I'm super thankful he's okay. I actually had a nightmare last night about him being in a car accident so i've been nervous all day. I'm glad he's home and safe. I know that's all that really matters

We can't go through insurance, the lady just took Will's name and number. Her husband is gonna call later if he thinks we need to pay for damages.

Will said the lady said she wouldnt normally take the info for something so minor but it's a BRAND NEW car that her husband bought yesterday and she wasnt supposed to be driving it or something.... so she has to tell him b/c he'll notice or whatever.

OMG! this exact same thing happened to my friend last week coming on to the meadowbrook!!! i hate when ppl stop for no reason when they are merging on or off a parkway!!!!!!!!!!
