When it rains, it pours! *VENTING*
I have officially finished my semester and was estastic to start my wedding planning until the worst happened again....my father having another amputation. Girls, I cannot stress this enough, seeing someone you love suffer tremendously is by far the WORST feeling in the world. This whole week, my mom and I have been running back and forth to the hospital to be there for my dad. I am so stressed out, its beyond anything I have felt in a long time.
I am EXTREMELY close to my father and have always been his 'little girl'. I am just so distraught over the fact that once again he had to go through this kind of surgery. Losing limbs of any sort is such a great loss of independence. I admire my father's strength and understand his anger of all this. I just hope and pray this is the last surgery , except for one more (need of a kidney).
My FH has been AMAZING these last two years that we have been together while my father has been battling vicious health problems. Despite, what goes on around us, he has been so supportive, and I am just so blessed. He has visited my father, brought him dinner, offered my mom to stay at his house to rest and for some food. He has offered his shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen. I am so grateful for his existence in my life, I am very lucky in this sense. FH always makes me feel so good when he says to me 'I don't know how you do this, you are the strongest person I know. I don't think I could ever be this strong if I were in your shoes'. I tell him I am strong because I have him. He is my rock, my confidant, and the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I just needed to vent that out and I thank you all for taking the time out to read this. I am sorry for those of you who have gone through this, and who have lost any parents and/or close family members.
