OMG...i just got word that my flower girl dress that was ordered over the internet by her mother, is NOT going to make it here in time! She ordered it months ago! So now I have to go and find a flower girl dress that I like, and I was picky to begin with!
yeah...ALSO: 2 of my BMs are on the other side of the country, and their dresses were mailed to them almost 2 weeks ago. THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THEM! I sent one nad hte salon sent the other, nad they are insured and everthing, but the wedding is 3 weeks away!
All this work to get these beautiful dresses to begin with, and now i'm starting to panic!
FIrst things first: I have MOH tracking her dress now...so well see by tomorrow, if they get thier dresses and if they got lost or not.
Does anyone know of a good place that has Flower girl dresses in stock, that I can buy off the rack !?!

I would try Estelle's Dresses in Farmingdale or Charlotte's Kids in Massepeaqua. Good luck!

Yeah..Davids is on my list...just because they have things on the rack to buy... I will also try Estelle's! I'll have to find Charlottes kids in mass though...but thanks for suggestions!

there is that place on Jericho by Glen Cove Road across from Sheridan bowl. They have off the rack dresses. They just moved there from Mineola. Really Pretty dresses I went ther with my sister for something for my niece a couple of years ago.

my cousin went to davids bridal the other day to order a FG dress and was able to buy it right off the rack... def check them out!!

UPDATE:
ok..well MOH dress was not shipped on the 19th like I thought...it was shipped on the 30th!!! yeah..Maid To Order in Brooklyn, while fairly priced, was not so great with the customer service..and the delay!!!
thankfully, we tracked her dress and it isn't in Guam or anything, so she'll get it by wednesday..but that leaves her ONE WEEK to have it altered in Arizona, and then she is coming back here on the 17th!
Thanks for the suggestions again..i'll get right over to those shops after work today!

I would also check in some regular department stores like Macy's or Bloomies. You may find a really pretty party dress on sale.

I don't know how far east you are willing to go, but there is a Strasburg children's store in the Riverhead Tanger Outlets (Tanger 2 by the Food court, by Lillian Vernon, etc).
They sell children's dresses as well - and flower headbands, silk covered flower baskets, etc.. the prices are pretty reasonable too.
