Are you going to want to find out the sex of your baby before it's born? Why or why not?

Yes. Absolutely. In general i dont really like surprises But, mostly because i want to decorate and buy clothes and pick out a name.

I want to know because we have an ongoing bet to see if me or FSIL is going to have the first girl in the family. FH family has 95% males in his family. He has only ONE female cousin.

no way! If I am gonna carry it for 9 months and deal with all the uncomfortableness that may come with it, I want there to be a surprise at the end!

I went with the surprise. I think it makes it more special and you are in trouble if they are wrong (and they have been). If FH and I have one, I would do the same. It adds to the excitement.

absolutely. i like to prepare for things in advance, and while i like surprises in some cases this wont be one of them

i just asked FH and he said he isnt sure... he said he probably would want to know too

i found out with both of my kids what sex there were- rooms were all decorated and names had been picked- liked having everything done- then just bring them home and Never sleep a full night again

I am not going to find out, or at least right now that is the plan. FH really wants to be surprised and I don't think I could keep myself from telling him if I knew. So for the 1st one at least we are going to make it a surprise.

I do not want to know the sex and fh is dead set on not finding out so as much as I might want to give in I am going to keep it a suprise b/c I know it means so much to fh
