Re: When should
I think six months also. I have asked around and that is what I have gotten as an average answer.
Where are you going for makeup?

My BM is doing my make up for me. She used to work for Estee Lauder.

Re: When should
i dont know who you ladies plan on using.. but 6 months is usually the norm i used to work at maximus in merrick and there were brides in there 8-10 months prior b/c the one stylist had a waiting list!

Re: When should
Well I have a make up artist already she's been doing my make up for a year. I just took another bride to meet her and she got her trial done! It came out beautiful and she fell in love with her.
Well my make up artist said...when you have the following she can help me:
My groom (lol), date, dress, colors, and especially the time of the wedding. So if thats checked off then u can start now!
As for hair...I'm not sure I'm sorry I'm not much of a help for the hair.

Re: When should
This is a great question because I never really thought about it. Six months sounds good to me!

Re: When should
but depending on how you want your hair, for example if you want to grow out your hair and its short now then start going to your hairstylist and getting regular cuts now. If you have split ends and damaged hair from all the hair dying like me lol, then they say to start hair treatments and taking care of your hair ahead of time. So it's good to start preparing your hair for your wedding day.

Re: When should
Thanks girls! thats what I thought. I saw alot of people going even earlier like 1 year before. But that might be because there is a wait for there stylist.

i agree - my hairstylist has told me that she'll go over what i need to do interms of growing it out and cutting etc before hand....esp since I'll be getting it cut in NC and I need a strategy!!!
Good Advice!!!
