When should I .......

Have FH go for tuxes? We have 2 gm's who live in Boston if that changes the time frame, not sure. I am at my 4 month mark.

And do you have recommendations for good places in Western Suffolk or eastern nassau?

They say 2-3 months beforehand. We went about 4 months before and told the guys they HAD to be measured and ordered by the 2 month mark.

We went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place.

2-3 otherwise you might be too early. We actually got chased away from stores when we tried four months before.

We did ours early (oct for April)

All the Boston guys need to do ist go to a local tux shop and have their measurements taken and then call them into your tux shop.

Get on then NOW though b/c i dont know how your guys are, but we JUST got the dad's in last week for measurements and one of our AZ guys hasnt sent in his measurments and its 27 days away. The shop keeps asking me for them so they can reserve it for him.

We went to tuxedo park in Carle place so I dont have a recommendation for Suffolk.

You can go anytime, the guys will have to be measured by June.
We went to Esquire Tux in Merrick. Check them out.

We went about 3 weeks ago and picked out everythign we like. The guys have to be measured 8 weeks before the wedding (beginning of July), so this gives them enough time to get the money together and go get measured.

Ditto!!! We used him as well and he was phenomenal. So patient and knowledgable.

tuxes are easy, they take 4-6 weeks.

we ordered ours from Ginos in Farmingdale. We have 2 guys out of state and the lady gave us a card that we mailed to the guys- they got measured by a place by them and then they ordered it online (they could mail back the info too). The people there are great and the price was AMAZING!!!

really? we had no problem last month and that was almost 6 months away for us.

I thought it was too early but the lady said its good we came before the rush of prom season and its crazy!

We actually went today. We are getting married 7/18/2008. We need 7 all together and 5 of them live upstate NY. We went picked them and the guys upstate just have to get measured up by them and once they do that (I told them asap) FH can go and order them.
