Have my first fitting? My wedding is in June and Paradisde Bridal told me that they do not normally schedule first fittings until May. This seems a bit late to me, am I wrong? I have noticed that some July brides have already had their first fitting.

I am doing my first fitting the first weekend in Aug- but thats only because my mom will be in town and she hasn't seen the dress yet

My wedding is May 21st and I scheduled my first fitting for April 19th with Kleinfeld. I felt that the closer to the date, the better, since who knows how much weight I could drop/gain due to stress!
My mom was nervous too about that, but they're the experts!!

I'm probably no help b/c I changed my dress recently and it's coming in on a rush order by may 15th (yes, 13 days before the wedding!)
I got it at Paradise and they said no problem at all to do the alterations in that amount of time.. I wouldn't worry.. I'm actually kind of happy b/c I have no idea what size I'll be by then (for better or worse) and I had wanted to put it off as long as possible
