When should I book my hotel rooms?
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
if you book with the hotel directly, you can probably cancel without penalty 24-48 hours before checkin (but check the cancellation policy first). If a better deal comes along, you can always ask them if they'll give you the better rate. If not, cancel the old reservation and make a new one.
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
Does it make sense to wait or do it now?
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
If you know you're definitely staying there, I don't any reason why you shouldn't book now. We actually just booked ours today for out 9/6 wedding. We booked a regular room and the lady we spoke with gave us a free upgrade to a jr suite and she said that if there are full suites available that night they may upgrade us again.

and also i mean prices could go up i know they did at the hotel we blocked at
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
I would book it now and periodically check to see if the prices went down. If they do you can always change it. Our hotel suggested that we book the blocks early just in case, you never know.
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
well with the room block, you will probably get the same room rate (just dont wait too long or they may be booked) What is SK for? your HM? If so I would book that now because thats cheaper the earlier you book.. it can get expensive the closer it is to the date
Re: When should I book my hotel rooms?
I booked the room block and I assume they wont all be used so ill book a room from that. We're using the Crowne Plaza in white plains.
