When should I get dressed?

I have a wedding to go to - the church is at 3 and reception is at 7. The church is close by but the reception place is about an hour and 1/2 away. Do u think I'll have time to get dressed after the church and make it out there by 7? or should I just play it safe and go to the church already dressed.

You will have approx. 60-90 minutes between the ceremony & reception. What if you do your hair & makeup for the ceremony and then get changed afterwards?

hmmmmmmm that's an idea.
i am so conflicted i don't know what to do.
we also have a hotel near the reception place so we dont have to drive home late...so getting ready there is also an option. I just dont want to feel rushed - yet I dont want to be the only quest dressed fancy in the church.
