The wedding is Oct. 25....my RSVP date is Sept. 25. What would be the right date to mail them? Thanks

about 8 weeks before rsvp date-
making it around july 25th
so times you can get away with 6 week which would be around august 7
but it is total up to you and where they all have to go (plus lord knows we never get all the rsvp back and we end up calling at lest 20% ) LOL

My wedding date is Oct 4 and RSVP date is Sept 8. I am mailing my invites out next week for people who live far away (meaning, they'll need to fly in). For local people, I'll send them out last week of July.

I think 8 weeks is before the RSVP date is good as well. That reminds me that I'm totally late getting mine out now!
My RSVP date is 8/22 for a 10/4 wedding. I figure peopl will be late in responding so I went for the earlier RSVP date.

About mid August, I gave my guests 2 months to rsvp. My wedding is September 12th and our rsvp was August 15th. We sent them out mid June!

I agree. I have the same wedding date and my rsvp is Aug. 23 and I'll be mailing my invites out maybe a week earlier than you. People tend to forget if they have too much time to respond.

They say 6-8 weeks. I did mine on 6/30/08 and my RSVP is 8/1/08...Yeah I slacked a little bit.

I think it all depends on what you're comfortable with.

8 weeks before the RSVP date is waaaay toooo early!!!!
invitations are supposed to be mailed 8 weeks before the WEDDING DATE
outside of NY most people only mail out 6 weeks before the wedding date.
Mail Out 8/25 RSVP 9/25 Wedding 10/25

I just picked up my invites today and my date is October 25 also! I put the rsvp as October 19 though just in case. So last week of July or early August we should send them out?
