Beginning of Dec-like the 10th gives us 8 weeks till RSVP date
End of Dec -like the 30th( to avoid Christmas mail rush) gives us 5 weeks?

That's kinda tough, I would say mail them towards the middle to end of December, but the post office is so busy with holiday cards & people get so much mail at that point, the invitations might get misplaced. For this reason I would say wait till the first week in January.

I didnt want to send them around the holidays either.. I know its a little early but I am going to try to send them by next weekend.

I got married three days after you and sent mine out Jan. 2. I didn't want them to get mixed up in all the holiday mail, it still left plenty of time for responses.

If you don't have a lot of people who would need to make travel arrangements, I would say send them out on Dec 30.

I really would worry that they would get tossed aside in the holiday rush and forgotten about for RSVP and trust me non RSVPers are irritating
Did you happen to do save the date's? If you did then I wouldn't worry about only giving peopel 5 weeks to RSVP. Acutally I think I only gave people about 5-6.

I'm getting married a week before you and I'm going to mail them out the week after christmas. I just don't want them getting mixed in with the christmas mail (the whole christmas rush).
