it's four months to my wedding and i'm trying to make a short to do list for each month. that way i don't get completely overwhelmed at the end. when do you think i should meet with my photographer to go over must take photos and stuff? and what should i have prepared for him at our first meeting? thanks girls.

Call him and ask him. We haven't had our 'meeting' with ours yet, I was planning to wait until right after the New Year to give him a call and set this up. I'm also going to call the DJ and florist as well to set up my meetings with them. I figured the holidays are so hectic so I'd just wait until after.
I meet my phototgrapher the sec I saw him. YOu should def meet with your photo.
I called and met up with our photog a few months back and he was like I call you after new years to set up an appointment. I would call if they haven't by mid Jan to see what is up.
My photog told me 30 days before and then do a final meeting a week before when we drop off our final payment. My wedding is a week before yours so probably not til mid-March!! HTH
well...i am not sure what the 'right' answer to this is...but i do know that my photographer said we should meet about 1-2 months before in order to go over details
