I think its okay to get your shoes and jewlery whenever you see something that you know will be perfect for the wedding.

I found that if you hesitate then you may not find it when it is closer to the wedding.

When you are in the mood. My mom told me to wear your dress shoes around the house for at lease a month before SO you can break them in. Also wear stocking or socks, you don't want toe marks inside you shoes.
