I dont want to order it and then have it not fit her. Also where on LI can I go to just pick up a dress, or does that not exist. Any help is appreciated. I want her to look like shirley temple, not baby girl in a huge puffy dress.
my FG was 3 the day of the wedding. We got her dress in Feb...We bought it in Tri-County (very reasonable)
We bought our FG dress in Macy's, she's also 3. We actually bought 2 dresses and we'll see which one fits her when the time comes, then we'll return the other one.
They have beautiful fg dresses at Forever 21 in Westbury on Old Country Road, US Angels & more for half the price (off the rack). You can also try Tri-County; there are a few booths w/ fg dresses. Also not sure where you live but in West Babylon there is a store for little girl dresses with a big selection/variety of colors, fm me for info.
we got our FG's dress at tri-county but Davids also had buy off the rack as well
ask her mother how the child has been fitting in her clothes...my daughter was always right on with the sizes, at 6 months, she was just fitting into the 6-9 mos sizes, at 2, she was aperfect 2T, it wasn't until last summer that she shot up super tall and is now in a 6 for length but barely a 5 for the waist (she's 5 now...well, on sunday). meanwhile, some kids are chubbier and therefore are in bigger sizes.... this could help you decide how soon before to get it.
I hear a lot of girls rave about Tri County and Century 21.
