When should I receive a thank you if...

the wedding was just a reception a month after the actual wedding ceremony and there was no photographer so they aren't waiting for TY cards to be ready?

The wedding was 7/27

well we still haven't received a thank you for a gift we gave to a couple at their e-party back in June where FH is the best man - he even had to fly in from MI just to be there which he really couldn't afford to do!

maybe within the next couple of months.... either they are really busy with everything or just arent sending them

According to the Posts. They have until October 27th (3 months) to give out their Thank Yous.

I just received two thank yous from May weddings so I would think they have some time.

I got married in May & I haven't even ordered my Thank-you's!!! But I will today (hopefully)

I guess I should give them time, but I figured since they didn't have a formal reception with a photographer, they aren't waiting to get their picture thank you's, so what are they waiting for? AND the party was small and there weren't that many people there (50-75 maybe)

Why am I such a stickler about thank you etiquette?
