when should i register ??

when should i register ??

Wedding is five months away and i havent registered yet. I havent sent my invites yet so should i wait till they are sent then register? We're having a bridal shower in a few months so do i have to register for my bridal shower AND wedding or what? Dont know how this whole registering thing works, need help.

I registerd 4 months before my wedding...i felt no need to do it earlier than that

I registered a little before christmas, but actually only had one thing purchased as an extra christmas gift. You could do it soon, b/c people will start looking for shower gifts, I would do it before March/April

i would register asap.. it actually takes quite some time to finish, esp if you have nothing! i registered this past month... my shower is beg of may...

My wedding is a little under 5 months away and I registered months ago. You should register now your shower might b 3 months before your wedding.

OMG!! I got a twin, always wanted a twin. Congrats!! So....what havent you gotten done as of yet? Just to see how behind I am!!!!! LOL

lol, I'm pretty much done with the biggies....invitations are being designed as we speak, and guys need their tuxes

I just need the little things, BM GM gifts, favors, Ooh! and actually I need to book our night at the hotel which I've been procrastinating about


what do you still need to do?

Well.......have to pick out my invites, meet the florist and photographer, guys need their tuxes, buy BM, GM gifts, favors and of course register.

well you need to be registered before the shower, thats when everybody actually buys gifts off your registry and the purpose of it. In NY very few ppl actually buy a gift, they give money mostly, you MIGHT get a few gifts for the wedding but not many. So i would focus on getting it done before the shower, and if somebody wants to get you a gift for your wedding, it would be the same registry you dont do it twice. Its whatever is leftover from stuff ppl didnt buy for your shower
