Is it too early to start? I am just so excited and feel like I have to do something to get this going. When did you gals start? Also is it ok to do more than one place.

We regstered EArLY, The only problem with that is that A lot of the stuff we registerd for has been discontinued or clearanced. So now we have to delete and reregister all the things we had. But hey it was so much fun.... I dont really mind!!! We registerd at Fortunff for China Crystal 'fine' gifts Target for small appliances and stuff like that (vaccuums toaster) cause we can get all the stuff like that at target same items but a lot cheaper. Plus Fortunoff is only Ny and Nj. So out of town guests could go to a target anywhere!

we did the exact same thing that June262004 did - we registered at both target and fortunoff's. since we had an e-party back in july 2002, we had to register early and a TON of stuff has been discontinued (i have had to register for towels 3x already).
just note - fortunoff's will not let you register for bedding more than 6 months before your wedding as that stuff tends to turn over much more frequently.

We registered right after we got engaged. We registered at too many places (Fortunoff, Target, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn & Cooking.com)!!! I've had a few things get discontinued on Fortunoff as well as C&B.
