When should I send out invites for bridal shower?

The shower will be Sunday August 8th.

When should the RSVP date be?

I am making the invites, and hope to get them out this weekend, that is if my sister gets me all the addresses!

I think they should go out about 6 weeks in advance (people book up fast during the summer) and the rsvp should be a few days before the restaurant needs the final headcount - I would guess approx 2 weeks in advance.
