When should I send out my invitations???

My wedding is Labor Day Weekend. When should I send out my invites? I think I should send them out early because of the holiday weekend, and also because I live out of state. What do you think? I think I should get Save the date cards/magnets, but that's extra money being spent.

When should I send out my invitations???

I see that your wedding is 8/31- normally they are sent out 8 weeks before so that would be around 6/30. I guess if you want to give a little extra time you could send them out around June 15th or so.
