If you are picky - start now! It took me 9 months to find mine- but I'm crazy!!

I would start looking in Feb and order by March or April. All manufacturers are different - some take months to come in, some take 2 weeks. Maybe find a brand you like now and find out how long they take to ship once they are ordered.

I got mine from laura at laproductions - she's great and gives 30% off almost all the books she has.

Its just an invitation, 9 months??? As soon as you know all the info you need for them, you can find them in a day.

I don't think a day, but I do think 9 months is a bit long. I'm in June and FH and I are starting our search now. I just found one I like and will probably order them within the month which means they'll be here in January sometime. Then you have to take into account the calligraphy (if you plan on doing it) which could take another 2 weeks or so. I plan on mailing my invites in April, so I'd say 4-5 months in advance is fine.

the thing that takes the longest is getting everyones info. if you have all that i wouldnt stress too much about when you get them. mine came in 5 days off the internet.

Well I am getting married in July..I just went yesterday and they told me the absolute latest I should order them is Jan 16th..about 6 months prior to my date. But she also said ideally November-December
