I just got off the phone w/Janet King, my harpist to confirm everything and give her my final song selections, etc. . . She was so sweet.....
That brings me to the question: When should we contact our vendors to confirm everything and make sure it's all set in stone or go over details, etc. . . ?

Well, I'm finalizing my florist stuff in about 3 weeks.
Sending out final payments to the photographer next week.
And I'm about to call the hall and arrange my menu meeting.
Sending in my song list to the band next week also.
I guess whenever you are ready basically!

Liz, I am so jealous. I wanted Janet King also, but needed to cut expenses somewhere!!
anyway, check your contracts and see. I couldn't hurt to contact the vendors and see what they say. Im making appt w/ DJ for sometime april. Florist is pretty much finalized, havent spoken to photo, but will give him a call..... the Rev. called me last night to remind me to get marriage licence and made an apt with them for soon thereafter... just check in with them and see... 6 more weeks for me from this Sun!!!!!!!!

That's what I'm starting to freak out about! This week I want to call my florist and have a sample centerpiece made, call the hall and ask my BM when we should pick out our food, and our string trio to pick out our ceremony music. The video people already sent us papers to select pics. and songs for our video.

Jennifer..I spoke to Charles tonight. I think I'm going in two weeks. I made an appointment for next Saturday, but then realized I had like 812 other things to do that day..so I'm going to move it a week. Don't worry, there is still plenty of time to finalize! He was so calm and cool and I'm like 'NOW NOW NOW'. lol. He was laughing at me. Said we still have tons of time.
