either the MOB or MOH to give an additonal favor to the bridesmaids, sides the ones given to the guests? Mom wants to know.

I think the answer is no...but there's no harm in giving them a little extra something to the BM's...especially if they had a part in planning the shower.

well, I have never heard of it but I guess it she would really want to , that would totally be up to her. Are your BMs contribuitng to the shower? Is that why she wants to give them a little something extra?

Yes, all the showers that I have been too, the MOB has given the BM's something in addition to the favor. But its not mandatory.

Ive never heard of that but it may be custom in certain families.
Im throwing a shower for my friend this year and there will be no gifts to the BMs. That is something the bride should do. The shower and wedding are expensive enough without giving gifts to her friends.

i havent heard of it.. my moh will be planning the party alone..
but if the bm's are helping plan/pay for the shower then i think a thank you gift would be nice
