FH & I basically know who is in the BP (and it is a big one) but we're trying to wait and see if maybe we change our minds (of course I don't think we will). So I'm wondering...when should we formally ask people to be in our BP? I ordered custom scratch-offs as a unique way to ask and was thinking about giving them to everyone on/near Christmas, which will be 11 months before our wedding.

thats good.. i asked them at our engagment party about 2 yrs ahead but its cause we def knew and wanted them to prepare cute idea for how to ask

I couldn't wait .. I asked my girls within days of getting engaged, and asked the guys shortly after
You can ask them anytime you want. I think I asked both MOH about 8 month b4 the wedding. FH hasn't even asked his brothers yet!

Your idea is cute! I asked before I got engaged LOL! Most of the people in my wedding party knew. My fh asked within a couple months of getting engaged!
