When to book honeymoon?

When to book honeymoon?

I am not getting married til July 2010. I think we will end up doing a Sandale All Inclusive. How early do you book your honeymoon normally? Some friends of mine were saying we should book now (that seems too early to me booking a year in advance). My cousins told me that it's better to book maybe 4 or 5 months before. Opinions??

me and FH are having this same problem. we are getting married in june 2010, so if we book our hotels now, none of the promotions are out-they start coming out around december. our travel agent said if we book now, once the promotions come she will adjust our price....so we might jsut book it since we know where we want to stay and everything...plus i heard it is better to get your airfare as soon as it come out bc the earlier you book the airfare, the cheaper

I have learned from previous trips that everything is adjustable. Whenever you have the deposit money--- got for it. Just check and confirm with your travel agent. A good one will know when and if Sandals is going to do a promotion.

I booked mine a couple months ago (over a year till my wedding) We are doing Sandals St. Lucia and booked because we got an awesome deal. With Sandals you can keep checking their prices online and if it goes lower you can keep getting the new price adjustments until you actually pay for your HM in full which isn't actually due until I think a few weeks before the HM. So IMO with a deal like this it doesn't make sense to wait too long, I rather gaurentee the room I want!!!!!!!
