Do I bussle before or after pictures? And before or after the first dance?

I'm doing it after pictures, before we go to the CH (so definitely before the first dance).

I got bustled right after the first dance ... I held my long train and cathedral veil while i was dancing - just so everyone at the reception could get to see my train and veil.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to have the bustle for the first dance or hold the train with that loop thingie...

we are taking pics first, so i will probably bustle it right before the CH - it's a long heavy train and i don't want to be carrying it!

I was bustled during the CH and first dance. We escaped away for 15 min to take pictures outside with the sun shining and I made them take the bustle down and they reattached it when we started walking back inside.

I bustled before we walked into the reception & were announced. I stay bustled all night.

I bustled mine right before we got announced into the reception. I didn't want to walk in or have to dance with my train on my arm. I saw a bride at another wedding do that and you could see all of her slip underneath. I just thought it looked sloppy.
