My train is like 5 ft long...so after I put my dress on at the house, do I leave the bustle down until the church? I'm so afraid its going to get dirty! If I bustle it before the church, and then unbustle it at the church, do you think it will be wrinkled?

I have the same porblem and i am going to bustle after church and hope my MH and BM can hold it up!

There should be an extra hook (peice of string) under yoru dress for that reason. You carry your train that way so it doesn't get dirty. Then after the ceremony and pictrues, you bustle your train up.
Usually that extra peice of string (which is white) should be in the middle of your train.

I bustled mine after the pictures at the reception hall. I kind of just gathered it all in my arms before that so it wouldn't rub on the ground.
