When to Bustle?

With 2 days left, I suddenly have lots of questions...

We are taking all of our pics before the ceremony. Ceremony is at RH and we plan to attend the CH.

When do I bustle? After ceremony but before CH? Before reception? After first dance??

Please help!

Ya technically you are supposed to bussle it after the first dance so that those who weren't at the church gets the opportunity to see your beautiful train...i think this was also before brides attended the cocktail hour.....but it's just not practicle in my opinion...FH and i are learning a dance and there is no way i can have it down..lol....so this long winded response is to say after pictures before the CH for me!

what do I do with it all day during pics? Just carry it by the carry-loop thing???

Make your MOH carry it behind you! that's pretty much what i'll be doing! lol

I did it after the first dance. your train adds to the beauty of the dress when you walk in for the first time as a married couple

I only have a sweep train so i am doing it after our first dance.

I would say after the pics are taken after the ceremony -- if not you risk someone stepping on it during the CH

We also took pics before the ceremony, at OWG.

I bustled immediately after the ceremony (before the cocktail hour). This is also when I took my veil off, since I did not want to wear it the whole night.

We had a choreographed 1st dance,d and i didn't want to deal with the train during the dance.

I would love to bustle it after our first dance, but my train is toooo long---don't know at what point in the night i'll have time to have it bustled after our first dance, so I might as well just have it bustled before the entrance.

humm.. I am taking pics before the ceremony.. so maybe I will have it up before ceremony and after ceremony and down only during ceremony? idk.. I feel like having it down might annoy me. lol.
