I have been wondering about when to bustle your train post the ceremony. Do you plan on bustling your gown before or after your first dance??? I really liked the look of the train not bustled during the first dance. But I'm wondering whether it would get in the way? Opinions???

I bustled mine right before the reception started. So before the first dance.

I'm going to bustle mine before, so nothing happens to it, (like FH or any guests stepping on it while dancing)

I like the way it looks during the first dance when the dress is unbustled and the train is flowing. So I plan to do mine after first dance.

I think it totally depends on your dress and on your preference! I bustled mine right after the first dance but my dress didn't have a huuuuuge train and I loved swirling around in it!

I'm going to bustle it before my first dance... My friend didn't bustle hers until after and she looked really weird holding her train while she was dancing... just didn't look right to me.
ETA - now that i think about it, i'll probably bustle it during CH.. I want to keep the train during pics, but dont' want to be tripping on it while we party!

I had a cathedral train so I bustled it just before DH and I went down for CH. There was no way I was dancing with that bad boy unbustled, lol.

i plan to do it before...i cant imagine trying to dance with FH with my train. If i left it unbustled our guests could take bets to see who trips on it first...me or fh lol
