So my RSVP date is in 2 days and I'm waiting on 11 response cards. My question is can I start calling/emailing people today to ask them if they're coming? 5 of them I know are coming but I'm not sure if they're bringing guests. Is it rude to call people before the last day to RSVP (which is March 31st)?

I'd wait. Could be in the mail already. I'd actually wait until later in the week to call just in case it's somewhere in the mail.
11 responses, that's not so bad really. I've heard of 40+!

some people wait till the last minute. I would just wait till the actual date and then call.

my date is in 2 days also...i have kinda just been politely reminding people to send them in...honestly i dont care if its rude but I just want to make sure I get them all.

Ok, thanks everyone! FH keeps asking me to call people (they're mostly from my side LOL) but I kept saying we should wait. I knew I'd get good answers here! I agree, after hearing how many other people are waiting on I feel pretty lucky it's only 11. It's so annoying to not have a final head count, it makes table arrangements hard!

I started calling people the day after my response was due...I wount do it before I would wait the two days out.

I'm waiting for another few days (we put March 25 as the date and still waiting for another 40 cards (80 people!!)) - it's frustrating me so much. I mean, put the thing in the mail, the stamp's already on it!!!!! I figured wait for the people who put it in the MAIL 3/25. Then start calling.

Id at least wait til the RSVP date. My plan is whoever doesnt RSVP, I will be getting in touch with them the very next day!

to a few of my friends i contacted them on fb or email to give them the heads up that the date was coming near. i didnt see a problem with that.
