When to call the doctor

If you suspect you are pregnant, when do you call the doctor. I am asking because I heard that some doctors will not see you until 8 weeks.

Some OBGYN's want to see you sooner then that so they can confirm the pregnancy. Then you make the appoitment for sonogram at around 8 weeks.

I called my Dr right away - he saw me at 6 weeks to confirm my pregnancy.

Definitely call the Dr. right away,
and see what they say, for your own peace of mind you will want to see Dr right away!!!

my doctor did not want to see me until 12 weeks or so, but they did send me for a sono at 7 or 8 weeks to make sure everything was ok. This was for my first pregnancy, with no problems before that. If you've previously had a miscarry or something, they may want to see you sooner. And if you are not on prenatals already, they will call them in for you. Good luck!
