Hey ladies, We arent getting married until Sept but still have to taste our venue's food. How soon should we do this? Or should be put it off until summer when foods that will be available in Sept will also be available then (like seasonal fruits, veggies, etc.)

I am doing two. I booked my RH in Dec 2008 and went to the first tasting in Sept 2009 (too many scheduling conflicts for us to go before that), then we are doing another one this Wednesday (about a month before we pick our menu)....so excited!

My hall says official tasting should be about 4-6 months before the wedding. But I could do it at anytime I want.

My BM suggested doing it 2-3 months before the wedding because the menu is different for each season and you want to taste the food that will be available for your day.

2.5 months to the day and I still haven't done it. Thanks for reminding me that I need to put in for March 16th! We're going to try to do it then!
